Katherine smiled and followed Jacob through the crowd. She weaved in and out of dancing people and was nearly squashed in between two dancers before she made it all the way towards Jacob. Usually she would be able to easily squirm her way through a crowd but for some reason the massive sea of bodies didn't feel like releasing her today and with that thought she laughed. “I’d feel bad if I made you sleep on the couch. If you don’t want to take the bed then share it with me” Katherine said when she finally reached Jacob

She didn’t wait for his answer as she made her way towards the door. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to hear it. She was a little embarrassed that she had even asked him to share a bed and hoped her didn’t take it the wrong way. She just felt guilty taking the bed of someone she knew while they slept on an uncomfortable couch, and she didn’t feel like being alone.

Giving a laugh Jacob shook his head and walked after her, getting outside he looked at her "The couch is as comfortable as the bed...and I know women like their space when they sleep" he said with a smile.

Putting his hands in his pockets he glanced at her "Let me know if you feel cold" he said gently, he had a good guy side to him even though some people thought he was all ego and evil. Nah he had a soft side but it wasn't something he liked people seeing.

"How long have you been living at the insitute?" he asked casully, he wasn't one to really have a long conversation with women. Most of the time the conversations never got past 'hey' and 'want to come home with me?', but he wasn't going to try and flirt with Katherine too much seeing as he doubted she wanted that when she was falling asleep on her feet.

Katherine giggled slightly at his remark about women needing space when they slept. It was true for most girls but Katherine hardly took up any room, she usualy ended up curling into a ball anyways while she slept “Trust me I don't take up a lot of space and couches aren't comfertable. Been there, done that.” She said slighlty exagerating a bit. She'd been kicked to the couch plenty times back home but most of the time she was to tired to move after a night of partying and passed out. She felt sore in all sorts of places when she woke up.


“I've been at the Institute for Four years, since my parents died and my vampire Issues started. They have a special warning on me, I'm not allowed near vampires or any where vampires hang out, so I can't go to Magnus's parties anymore.” She said saying abit to much about herself. After her parents were killed she went on a Vampire killing spree and they had to use a very strong sleeping medication to get her to stop. She wasn't about to go off killing Vampires anymore but the Clave was paranoid and they didn't need another war, so they kept her on their radar.

"Nah I have a comfy fold out couch" Jacob with a with a smile, glancing at her as she said she had been there for four years he shook his head slightly. "Sorry to hear about your parents" he said gently. Giving a laugh at the fact she couldn't go to Magnus' parties, "Well if you ever get a craving to go give me a call and I'll be your escort" he said.

Pointing to an expensive building he smiled softly "My apartment is on the top floor" he said, as they reached the building he lead her inside. Sure he dressed shabbily at times but that didn't mean he couldn't afford nice things. Reaching the door of the building he held it open for Katherine with a smile "Ladies first" he chuckled lightly, keeping his right hand in his pocket he looked inside into the white tiled lobby which seemed glitter from the lights in the ceiling.

Katherine laugehd when he mentioned a comfortable foldout Couch. It may have been a fold out but even then it couldn't have been that comfortable. She didn't shiver as they walked because the cold rarely bugged her. She couldn't beleive that people could get cold but she always reminded herself that their daddy wasn't a warlock and they weren't the result of a one-night stand. "It's not that cold out." She said with a smile. Her body temperature was already high from being surrounded by people the cold didn't affect her much.

When they Reached Jacob's building Katherine almost felt like her jaw had dropped and touched her chin just to make sure it hadn't. "I was not expecting this." She said walking through the door Jacob had held open for her. The inside of the building was beautiful and she felt almost taken aback by how beautiful everything was."I should really learn not to be so surprised about things" Katherine thought looking around the room, As Jacob and her walked towards the elevator
