lace&ribbons, smoke&mirrors is a somewhat based off The Mortal Instruments. It takes place after City of Glass as everyone is trying to go back to the way things were before Valentine came back.
Now, everyone is living somewhat peacefully but what happens when "Sebastian Verlac" and his partner in crime try to pick up where his father left off?
HUMAN ,
humans can not see downworlders(fairies, witches, werewolves, etc), shadowhunters, or demons who are in their true forms. they can only see them with their glamour
SHADOWHUNTER ,
aka, nephilim.
their government is called The Clave. They have the angel's blood running through them. Shadowhunters tend to die young because they are almost always in battle with demons (or downworlders who causes trouble/plot evil). They mark their body with runes to protect them&&help them in their battle. They are also very loyal because once they promise you something, they can't break it && they can't tell people they are shadowhunters because they are bound by oath to The Clave
FAIRY ,
downworlder! can be called Fey, they are half demon and half angel and have been on the earth longer than anyone has ever been. they don't really tell lies and are beautifully mischievious.
VAMPIRE ,
downworlder! can be called children of the night, &&can be caused by demon disease. they do not age after they've been turned (by disease or by another vampire). they might or might not be beautiful, they look the same way the did before they were changed, just really pale. they are drunk they turn into
either a rat, a bat, or a pile of dust && they get burned in the sunlight. *unlike twilight, they don't sparkle. sorry!* they can use in groups too.
WEREWOLVES ,
downworlder! can be called children of the moon, &&can be caused by demon disease. they are most powerful at full moon and can change into a wolf whenever they feel like it. silver
is poision to them and they don't like vampires. also, they run in packs with a leader, usually a male.
WITCHES/WARLOCK ,
downworlder! can be called children of lilith. they are half human half demon and are sterile. also, they don't always have powers so they can be seen as humans with the sight and demon blood.
DEMON ,
demons come from other dimensions and are usually evil. they prey on the weak and Shadowhunters kill them when they commit crimes. they have diseases that can infect humans&shadowhunters, the diseases might cause the infected to turn into a downworlder.
