The one major thing that's changed Jonas since being turned would obviously be his skin color. He is very pale now, but he likes it in the fact that it contrasts his some of his features. His hair is dark brown and naturally curly, but since discovering a hair straightener, Jonas' hair is almost always straight. His hair isn't necessarily layered, but it does frame his face and provides sweeping bangs that obscure his forehead. He's been known to dye his hair to a golden brown or put in highlights of a similar color. His eyes are also blue, a pretty light blue in fact. He has straight eyebrows that aren't thick, yet not thin enough to be considered feminine. He has a somewhat of a long face, and often complains about his lips being too thin. Other than that, everything else on his face is proportioned pretty well and is even clear of any blemishes. Also, his teeth are strikingly white and straight.

Jonas' fashion sense mostly depends on his mood. He usually likes wearing tees with clever or outrageous phrases on them just to see the reactions of other people. He likes wearing hats too, and owns quite a few beanies and caps. When he's feeling a bit less casual, Jonas finds his style to be a bit on the preppy side and often accessorizes with scarves and glasses.

Jonas is loud, obnoxious, and overall rude. He seeks attention, because of how much he felt ignored during his childhood. You'd think that being about 40 years would mature him, but his true age has done hardly anything to him. He enjoys pulling pranks and pushing people's buttons, and has somewhat of a thievery issue. To sum it up, Jonas is just a kid. Being turned into a vampire at seventeen just gave him this 'kid forever' mentality that he refuses to give up. He's often scolded about his behavior, though he's too naive to actually pay any attention to it. On top of that, he's a very talented liar, giving him the ability to worm himself out of just about any situation.

Acting like a kid all the time gives people the impression that Jonas is incompetent, or stupid. That's far from the truth, however. He may not show off his smarts in an obvious way, more likely in a more underlying method such as deception. While he seems to have childish innocence, Jonas actually often has dark intentions. He likes toying with people's minds, occasionally to the point where they become insane. He's not afraid to kill while he's feeding because of his 'food chain' reasoning. Jonas loves being a vampire, and embraces the new lifestyle instead of pushing it away or hiding it. He takes great pride in what he is, and still has a mutual dislike for werewolves. Since he's often rude and brash, Jonas wouldn't be afraid to call them 'mangy mutts' or to even spit in their face.

He's not too fond of the alliance between the Underworlders and the Nephilim, though he has slowly grown to accept the fact. However, if he had to choose between saving a fellow downworlder or a shadowhunter, he'd save his own brethren unless they were a werewolf of course. The thought of having demon blood running through his veins excites Jonas in some crazy way. Though deep down he seems evil, Jonas was not a fan of Valentine. He reluctantly fought in the battle, glad that it had been short and that Valentine had been defeated. Though they share the whole 'pride' concept, they're on opposite ends when it comes to what they're prideful about.
