the one i know!
characters name; Dylan Michael Kennedy
nicknames; Dy, DK, Deke
characters age; one hundred and eight.
grade; n/a
species; vampire
celeb/face claim; ryan taylor
picture;
appearance; Dylan has the hair that many people would die for. Not too long, and not too short. Not too dark, and not too light. The perfect combination, while his eyes are a deep blue. The kind that anyone could easily get lost in. Especially the humans that he tricks into giving him blood, or just love him, so that he can easily take their blood. He is about 6' and weighs 150 lbs, which is a small amount, making him a very thin but still muscular boy.
When it comes to clothing anything goes with Dylan. He prefers to wear fancier clothes, such as blazers with a dress shirt and then some skinny jeans, but he can also work the skinny jeans with a t-shirt and hoodie. Dylan had done some modelling in his past so make-up is a must for him. Not too much though. Just a littler eyeliner and mascara, and maybe some lip chap.. or lip gloss, depending on the rest of his appearance for that day.
personality; He is a typical older brother, with a strong sense of duty and loyalty, and a fierce protectiveness over his little sister. He is laid back and easy going, never the life of the party but always well liked. You know that one friend you always invite over first? That's Dylan, the loyal and steady guy who, once he trusts you, will have your back for life. He's kind and generous and caring, and he works really hard to make sure that's what you think of him.
Beneath that pleasant exterior is a vampire who likes the taste of blood a little too much, always preferring a live donor over bagged blood. Wherever they've lived, he's searched for someone to be his regular donor, protecting them as long as they fed him. He has no qualms killing humans, and though he doesn't particularly like other vampires, he can get along with them. Dylan is better in small groups or one on one; he likes his alone time but knows how to play with others.
history; Dylan plans to spend the rest of his existence making sure his sister is safe, since he wasn't there to help her when she needed him the most: when she was turned. She'd kept it a secret from him, from their whole family, until one night, he woke up, freezing, trying to dig his way out of the Earth. He doesn't blame her for turning him, although every once in a while, he laments the lack of choice and misses aspects of his old life, namely, walking around during the day.
As a child, he grew up human in Georgia with his mother, father and sister. They were a typical nuclear family, the siblings unusually close. After their parents passed away, the siblings relied on each other. Though they weren't ignorant in the ways of vampires, neither did they know how to hide in plain sight, and Dylan had to... take care of a few errant humans to keep their existence a secret. He didn't mind; in fact, he liked it a little too much, enjoying the extra strength and agility that comes with being a vampire. Since there are but a few things that could ruin his new life, Dylan takes pleasure in doing whatever he wants, whenever he wants... mostly.
sexual preferance; bisexual, mostly men though.
family; mother: Evangeline Kennedy, deceased father: Andrew Kennedy, deceased sister: Rylee Kennedy, 100

those random skills!
rp sample; Alec stumbled into the Institute, his hair plastered to his face, and dirt covered hands. His morning had mainly been him and Isabelle fighting each other, and getting guidance from their father. Knowing that a shower was needed, he gathered a t-shirt, black sweater and jeans. Isabelle had marched up to her bedroom to freshen up. She was going to go and visit a friend of sorts, which Alec was sure was not just a friend, but he could never really be sure with his sister. Sometimes she would just mess with someone for the fun of it, or for a distraction, while other times she seems to have an actual interest in people. Alec had only known of one love, well, that was until he met a certain warlock. Then things began to change...
Shaking those thoughts from his mind he stepped into the warm water, and rinsed out his sweaty hair. Soon enough his shower was over and he smelt much like soap and shampoo, and not the icky kind either, but the kind that would stop people to comment. Once he was dressed in the outfit he had decided on earlier, which really wasn't much of a decision, since he wasn't really one for fashion, he pulled on his boots, and tied them up. He could hear Isabelle throwing her clothes around in search for what she would call 'the perfect outfit to look as if she was about to jump up onto stage, just to rip them off.' Okay, maybe that wasn't what she called it, but that's what Alec thought about it.
His hair was dried when he had finally found all the right weapons and slid them into his belt, where they would be kept for the remainder of his time outside. Shadowhunters always carried weapons, or at least that's what his father had told him. Isabelle had questioned him if they took them even when on a date, and their father simply stared at her and walked away. That was well enough of an answer, because she always had her whip tucked into her belt. Alec stared at his mess of hair on top of head, his head tilted a bit. Any one else would have fixed it and made it look 'acceptable,' but Alec really didn't care, and simply pulled a brush through it and then brushed his teeth.
Soon enough Alec and Isabelle were on their way to their separate locations. Alec had insisted to drop Isabelle off, but she refused quickly, and made a compromise. They would walk to Taki's together, and then take off on their own ways. Alec hadn't quite decided where he was off to, but figured it would come to him sooner or later. His sister went on about something he wasn't quite interested in, but he still paid attention, because he was after all her brother. It was nice to hear her talk again, after the incident with their younger brother. No one would ever fully recover from that, but Izzy definitely had it a lot worse than the others. Alec felt bad for her, and spent more and more of his time with her, which was also a nice distraction from his love life, which was quite confusing to him.
Once the two reached Taki's, Alec waved good-bye to his sister, and decided he may as well have lunch there. With a shrug he took a step inside the familiar diner. A few people looked up and greeted him with waves, Alec waved back shyly, not used to coming there alone. But was he really alone? It barely a second for Alec to notice Magnus Bane seated in one of the booths. His lips twitched up in a small smile. He hadn't seen Magnus since Alicante, and wasn't sure whether or not they were even friends anymore, or enemies, or even speaking to each other. He looked around quickly, before walking over to the warlock. "Is this seat taken?" Alec asked in a small voice, nodding to the empty seat.
