this is our destiny !
The Requiem is an ever changing land, full of mystery and devestation. Within it are four kingdoms. Each possesing one of the great powers of old. Fire was claimed by the North, while water went to the West. The South took the strength of the earth and the East took the Air. For twenty years or so they lived in harmony with one another, but then something happened. The four kings had each been eyeing off a fifth kingdom. One that had remained untouched for centuries, they each wanted to extend their kingdom. For the one who controlled that could oversea the whole of Requiem. And so it was that a battle grew, they did not know this would last for over a fifty years, and that during this time the true heir to this throne would rise within one of the kingdoms. However they would try to control this boy he would be untouchable, none could control him but himself, for he is the true ruler of this land. Where once the lands grew lush, there minds have been poisoned by jealousy and greed, the overuse of their powers has changed the land they live to reflect. The land in the north that was once lush and green has become little more than a harsh and ever changing desert. Few Oasis' are within and there is but one green land left. To the East the land has become windy, trees uprooted and stock that grazed there lost condition. It has become prone to hurricanes and many other wind ridden disators. To the South though it still remains fertile many volcanoes have formed and earthquakes are known to ravage the country. And last to the West it has become ravaged by oceans, now little more than island continants. It is prone to many floods, in contrast tothe north who take the droughts. Its summers are as wet as its winters.
The war will harm many countries, it will force enemies to become friends and those who were once allies to become enemies. Many will die, and the king will harness the strongest armies and weapons to march upon each of the lands. But they will not, for they will all meet in the fifth kingdom. The one previously untouched by life as we know it. For there is the great battlefield of Amund'ren. The first king of men. It is big enough to hold hundreds of thousands of men. Yet it will not only be men that fight, there will be women there to. Those that disobeyed the orders to hide and that came to fight alongside. Why should they not fight for those they love? But our young man, who still does not know his fate will find himself one day on the steps of the great castle and will meet a young women.
Her destiny is unknown to her also, yet clearer than his. She becomes suspicious of young Jarrid, for she can see in the end that he holds the powers, not of one magic. But of all of them. She knows who he is, even though he will not know it. When they journey inside the castle they stumble across an old man, a prophet to be precise. Centuries he has been waiting there, waiting for Jarrid and Alexandra to step into the castle, he tells them of their future, their destinies. That they, and only they can stop the war. Together, not singlely. But Jarrid is not accustomed to the life of a king, he rebells and runs away. Much to the disgust of Alexandra, she shouts for him to come back. But he flees, back into the depths of the air kingdom. One only he knows where to find. But the war is come ... the four alliances march 'pon each other at Amund'ren, as the battle rages, Alexandra tries in vain to stop the battle. But she cannot stop it without assitance. She cannot stop it without Jarrid.
But without Jarrid the cause is lost, but what will the confused heir to Lothlorien decide? Will he step up to take his destiny? Will he do the one thing the four kings of the realms fear and dread the most? Or will he run away, forever to hide and shun the destiny that he cannot escape. For only he can decide.
What decides when the war is won? Is it the last man standing?
Or when we have erased everything ?
